Original yarn used
Twilley's Goldfingering (knits as 3 ply)

Needles Required
1 Pair No. 3mm, UK 11 or equivalent

Tension
Knitted in an easy lace pattern, the tension for this design is approximately 28 stitches to 4 inches (10 cms) Check your tension - if less stitches use a finer needle, if more use a coarser needle.

Notes
As a guide, the illustrated ring is 2 inches (5 cms) wide

Pattern
Cast on 14 sts
K 1 row
Pattern row: s1, *K2tog, yfwd, K2* repeat from * to * 2 times more, K1
Repeat pattern row until work measures approximately 6 inches (15 cms) or length required.
K 1 row
Cast off
Making Up
Sew ends in neatly.
To fasten, either sew short ends together or lace them together with fine, brightly coloured ribbon through the "holes".
You can also attach decorative place name cards by tying on with ribbon.
